We Take The Biscuit

Die zwei Musikerinnen lernten sich in Berlin kennen und reisten daraufhin mit ihren Gitarren durch die Straßen Europas. Einige Musikprojekte später entstand die Band We Take The Biscuit.

Ihre Songs handeln vom Unterwegssein und -wie sollte es anders sein- der Liebe. Ende September veröffentlichten die Singer-Songwriterinnen ihre Debüt-EP "City's Hum" und stehen nach einer intensiven Studiophase nun wieder auf der Bühne.

Inspiriert von Laura Marling, Ben Howard und Bon Iver, kombiniert die Band warmen Satzgesang mit anspruchsvollen Gitarren und minimalistischem Schlagzeug und begeistert damit vor allem diejenigen, die auf die etwas andere Art des Folks stehen.

With a lust for adventure the young musician picked up his guitar and set out at young age.
His music has already taken him to the USA, Spain, Australia, New Zealand as well as other places.  Among other cities Timo has lived in Byron Bay, Australia where he started out busking in the streets. Soon he financed himself by playing his own shows eventually making a name for himself in the local music scene.

He came back to Germany in Summer 2016 to record his debut EP "On the Road".
Supported by his Band, or all by himself he played around 100 Shows in Music-Venues, Festivals, Pubs and Livingrooms throughout Germany.
His collection of songs and their lyrics are as profound, meaningful and exciting as his life story. Colorful soundscapes underline his pictorial lyrics and whisk the listener off onto an exceptional journey. From acoustic sounds to hot beats and rhythms he also outlines the potential of a “OneManBand” and spices his music not just with further instruments such as the harmonica and the loop pedal, but also through beatboxing and the Australian “Didgeridoo”.

Lisa Kudoke

Lisa Kudoke is a Berlin based singer who stood out when her first single "The Far“ made it to the local radio instantly upon release.

Through influences of Jazz, Blues & Soul music she creates a genre-bending style that comes across honest and powerful. Using her striking and soulful voice she understands how to lead audiences through vivid compositions as well as gentle melodies. Presenting the narratives of her songs with a strong cinematic quality.
Her music videos are co-produced with her close friend and artistic partner visual artist Mariana Jocic.
